You know when you have those days, when you don't want to be around anyone, save your spouse or significant other? Those days when anyone, just anyone, you come into contact immediately raises your ire with their blundering incompetence? I have been having those days a lot, of late...

I do know that its partly me, that I am being unfriendly and anti-social, but I can't help my mounting frustration when I have to interact with them. Then, of course, there are those who you have to deal with, who have the social skills of an animal. Not animals with good social skills like dogs, but ones with very bad social skills like those hippos who chase people.

A few days back I was looking for a specific game on PC. Far Cry 2 . So I rang up my local EB Games to see if they had any copies. I was told, on the other end of the line when it was finally answered, that "Far Cry 2 isn't on PC"... So I went and checked again online, and found that it was released on October 23rd last year !

This wasn't some new kid working at the store, either, this was the manager, someone I have seen working at this place for the past seven or eight years! Its things like this that make me want to hide inside my house and only communicate to the outside world via internet, or if I really have to, telephone.

People don't understand this about me, they think I am just being amusing. Like I don't really feel this frustrated by the common masses, wafting around, of course in my way, when I have to go and shop somewhere. And what is with them? You know those people, the ones who go into department stores and just kind of float about the place. You never see them with anything in their hands to purchase, or go to the checkouts, they just kind of drift around. They are like the human equivalent of dust bunnies.

Every time I have to go out of my house of late, I feel compelled to get home as soon as humanly possible. I am thinking of buying a years worth of army rations and not going out until well after Christmas. Sounds like a plan.
